Committed to drive a sustainable impact to the communities, Raipur Kerala Samajam works intimately to transform the lives of the human, to endorse and hearten the awareness of cultural heritage and welfare of Keralaresidents at the State of Chhattisgarh. To work for the development of the members and their families in all aspects such as literature, arts, youth affairs, sports and family wellbeing, together with creating an quintessence of Kerala culture in the budding and upcoming generations.

Raipur Kerala Samajam, an organization centered at Raipur, Chhattisgarh, India, works with non-profits on issues that are important and cause-driven to serve humankind. All the members of Raipur Kerala Samajam are pompous to announce that ever since its inception in 1957 by the worth attempt of mere 50 members of the community, it has put on with affairs to broaden serving hands and has helped many in need, by providing financial assistance for medical-treatment, education, marriage, etc. Raipur Kerala Samajam pursues this mission by making small grants to the needy. Scripting the activities of the Samajam, it never envisages problems without entailed solutions. It was and always will be engrossed in its motive. Few of them, if to be listed may be provided financial assistance for the medical-treatment/ ailment, arranged transportation of the bodies of the departed souls as per required and on demand, bearing all the expenses. In all round activities of sports and culture, Raipur Kerala Samajam rejoiced, facilitating the renowned personalities in the field of literature, agriculture and sports, at various national and international levels. To develop the regional language of the state of Kerala that is Malayalam, Raipur Kerala Samajam is with sincere efforts in developing the language. Its schools, acting as the medium and set frame for boosting of Malayalam language, Samajam conducts types of classes in the form of audio, visual and act. On off days special classes are conducted for the prompt reading and writing. Many of the students are benefited by the same and have grown upto the level of fluency in communicating and attaining perfection to pen down in Malayalam.

Raipur Kerala Samajam is constituted to have revels twice in an annual term, ‘Onam’ the state festival of Kerala and ‘Annual cum Christmas celebrations’. Conduction of various sporting events and providing cultural platform to engrave Kerala Culture is a part of these celebrations. To inculcate in minds, the valuable morale, the best are marked accordingly and honored. The Samajam feels highly privileged and elevated to have the blessings of various distinguished and eminent personalities featuring various areas of political and administrative levels, as Chief Guest and Guest of honor on all the occasions in its past years of celebrations.

Raipur Kerala Samajam aims at promoting education at various levels and is committed for the same. Samajam believes in education to be the first step towards change and not a farfetched dream. Adarsh Vidyalaya group of schools is a hope towards betterment. It operates under the banner of Raipur Kerala Samajam, a movement organized by the volunteers to educate the children in and around the Chhattisgarh State.

It might be a new kind in the sense of development, but in a very short span of time, it has proved its mettle and has proved to have a promising future. It did not start as a school system; rather was a small rented structure with few teachers who took up the gigantic task of teaching those, who was not able to pay for their education. These amazing folk joined hands to make a difference in the world around. Their goal was simple yet sacred; to contribute to the society by teaching kids in an area where there not many English medium schools and hence the first Adarsh Vidyalaya, came into existence, reinforcing knowledge in education by better monitoring of students level of knowledge. Concerned matters started improving with every tick of the clock with high yielding results. Perhaps most importantly, the school instilled in the children a sense of worth and empowered them to determine their futures. It was a simple, powerful model of grassroots change. Although it all started from a scratch, the feedback was great. Raipur Kerala Samajam, cherished Adarsh Vidyalaya Devendra Nagar, in 1974, when the then State Minister for Defense Shri. Vidyacharan Shuklaji, inaugurated it. The growth has been so steep that at present, it envelops over 2000 students acquiring education at various levels. The taught has set up quite a number of reputed positions in society and even abroad and is ringing the bells of fame. Then came into existence, Adarsh Vidyalaya Tatibandh, the second educational set up in the year 1994 and as on date, it is imparting education to students over 1500 in number. The third educational set up, Adarsh Vidyalaya, Mowa, Raipur, with the current strength of over 2000 students being educated, was established in the year 2004. Today, all the three schools, collectively crowned together in a cluster through the logo of Adarsh Vidyalaya Group of Schools productively functions under the banner of Raipur Kerala Samajam, with new horizons.

In the recent Naya Raipur Development Authority has allotted 12654 sq. meter land at A-4, Sector-30, Naya Raipur where building construction for an International School is already started with an estimated cost of Rs.5.00 crore.
